We cordially invite you to participate as a sponsor in the 1st Annual Superhero Run and Walk scheduled for Saturday, April 20th at the Hopkinsville Greenway Rail Trail in Hopkinsville, KY. The purpose of this event is to raise money for the CASA of Christian County(*), dedicated to advocating for the best interests of children who are involved in the court system due to abuse or neglect.

CASA volunteers undergo specialized training to investigate the child's circumstances, communicate with relevant parties (such as social workers, teachers, and family members), and make recommendations to the court about what they believe is in the child's best interest. They serve as a voice for the child in court proceedings, working to ensure that the child's needs are met and that they are placed in a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible. CASAs are committed to ensuring that children's rights are protected and that they receive the support and resources they need to thrive.
